The Seneca  High School was built in 1890, located  in 400 block  between Nemaha and Pioneer. You are looking northwest at the building from about Fourth and Nemaha. This building was both grade and High school until the grade school and Gym was built.   In 1968 this building was condemned because of structural failure and was demolished.  It was a beautiful building that had to be trashed which made many sad. As I remember someone took the building down for the material which was sold to local people.   The  block was sold and remained vacant for several years.  The Family Health Center is on the south west corner of the block now along with two residents to the east of the health center.
