Gilford Hotel, Third and Main , Seneca, Kansas

The Hotel Gilford at this time has telephone service and  electricity by the city generating plant as there is a arc light hanging in the center of the street to the left of the Hotel. There does not appear there is paved streets as of the time this picture was taken.  There is a house east of the hotel and one also south of the hotel, the tree is at least 10 to 15 year old, making the picture from 1910 to 1825.

The generating plant must have been where the KPL building is on west Main at one time.  It would seem it would have been where the well is at one time as old pictures of the well and pumping house were referred to as the Electric and Water Works, however I have no dates as of yet.
