Spring Creek Golf Course Damage
By Heavy Rains

Heavy rain, up to 7 inches, fell in  the drainage area of Spring Creek Golf Course on September  6 and 7 causing much damage to some  bridges,  greens, and the spillways of the golf course. Most of this has been repaired except the spillways.

The following days there  was some heavy equipment and many volunteers that  came out  to help repair some of the damage caused to the golf Course. Some of the greens near the creek had much trash deposited on them as well as in the sand traps.  There were also a heavy crain from AHRS Construction that helped hoist the heavy logs from the creek and road near the entrance to the Spring Creek estates and  golf course. As many as 20 volunteers were on hand to help with the cleaning of the low greens and tee boxes along the creek. What many thought would be as long as a week was done in two days with all the help.

The Community of Seneca and surrounding community are willing to do what is necessary to get things done. We can be grateful we live in a community where  people work together to make this a better place to live.

God gave us a warning as a lighting strike on the golf course to remind us to take cover when there is a storm in the area.
