There are plans to move the Fountain that is in the Seneca Park
to Main Street. From 1910 to about 1919 it was at the intersection of
third and Main. See
picture of the Gilford Hotel and Fountain - open on the left.
This fountain was donated
to the City of Seneca in 1910 by the by The National Humane Alliance, Herman Lee
Ensign, founder. Below is photo of the Fountain as it appears in the
park with the brass plate which is on the top on the far side. Horses
and dogs could find water there. Below is picture of fountain in the
park and brass plate on the fountain.
