There is a Horse Show at Seneca,  Kansas on Main street this day..  This picture was taken from near Sixth Street looking east. The date is unknown. What other things can we tell? It is  shortly after noon either early in the spring or late in the fall as  the shadows are fairly long There is sign is on the side of corner building which is now Mitchell's Appliances today and this sign is  still faintly visible today in 2004. We know this was Thomson and Wempe at a early date as the sigh reads. This sign is  getting towards a 100 years old. .Another  picture on this web site shows that in  1915 there was a building in the open space on the north side of the street  which was the Royal Picture Theater.  This picture must be some time early than 1915, likely before 1905 as there are no auto in sight.   J Six Enterprises  and Fashions Unlimited are located in this vacant area today.
