........................

This is the building of Courier Democrat of 1910. It is located at fourth and main with the  view to the  south east. I have not found the date when this building was remodeled and set back and a service station started. It may have been after 1919 when Geo and Dora Adraince bought the paper and merged it with the Seneca Tribune then re-named it the Courier-Tribune.

The picture below was in the 1938 anniversary edition of the Courier-Tribune. At that time it was Vick's Service Station. Ed Curti tell me the  front part of the building had been removed  for a service station.  At one time there were at the least four service stations on main street and three or four on north street. There was some doubt as some thought otherwise  however after comparing  the windows on the side of the building  and on the  picture below  and going through the building with Ed, I am quite sure Ed  is correct.

Picture from 1938 Courier Tribune.
