| Birds eye view of
Seneca, Kansas from Stand Pipe as it was called in those days. This was a
large picture which had to be compressed and reduce in size so as to load
onto internet. Compressing the text on the picture making it hard to read.
This picture may still load rather slowly. This is looking to the east and there are two large building on the left center, the one to the east would be the Seneca High School and the close one is the Nemaha County Court House. The Catholic Church shows in the upper left has the addition which was built in 1901. You are looking down Pioneer Street and it looks as if the streets are unpaved.
