This picture was taken from  Sixth  and Main Street looking east. The autos are parked in at the curbs.  Koelzer Drive through from Main Street has been closed. The sign on the store has been repainted again. It appears the streets are bricked and they would mean it is after 1919 as I have been told and will get the details sometime, they appear to be a bit dirty as the streets were not as clean as they are today. It was not uncommon for Main street in Seneca to have some piles of dirt or mud as  there were not many paved country roads at this time and the mud would stick beneath the fenders and fall off on the street or freeze under the fenders and thaw enough to fall of on the street. There was always someone with a shovel picking up dirt or mud.  It took a good rain to clean the streets before the city had the power sweeper.
