Picture form 1893 Courier Democrat. At that time many photos were created by drawing. This drawing or sketch of Main Street from 1938 Courier Tribune Anniversary Edition. Drawing is facing east from west of Fifth Street. This is the way most pictures appeared in early picture here at Seneca. This picture pre-dates the Harsh Drug Store as the building on the right is a clothing store and I remember reading where the owner of this store once tossed clothing off the top of the building as sale pitch. It appears the Gilford Hotel is at the end of the Street therefore is would be after 1892 as this when the Gilford was built.
