This is the floating dock that was anchored some 30  feet off the sandy beach. There was high  diving platform on the north side of the swimming area. This was  before there were many cement swinging pools in the area. The closest concrete swinging pool was at Sun Springs and Sycamore Springs east of Sabetha where there were also skating rinks.
