This web page will have  a collection of pictures of this area of Nemaha County include many of the towns streets and  old business  buildings of Seneca.  I have collected such picture most of my life but more intensely since I have retired. This is a time consuming job but very interesting. I enjoy collecting these pictures  and my hope is my hope is you will  appreciate these treasures  of the past as much as I do.    If you find pictures here and you have more information regarding these photos or corrections,  feel free to give me that information. In research, I have found conflicting items in different publications and  there may be things here that are the same.

There is  history in this area  that has never been recorded. Every family has stories that others would enjoy and should be written up and recorded for future generations.   There are likely many pictures of days past that could be shared here on this web page.  Look in those old  albums and boxes in the trunk upstairs or at grandmas house  and share them with the community. Do you have some with  no identification. I have such a page.   Many will say "I wish Grandma or Grandpa had written down some of their life for us to pass on to our children."  You can be the one in your family to start that tradition.
