Seneca is today located mostly in section 34 was first called Castle
Rock.
Wild Cat (now St. Benedict) was located in Section 8.
Richmond is in section section 24, The Richmond river Crossing was at
Richmond until 1859 when Capt John Smith E Smith diverted the trail to
Seneca by seeding oats or millet on the trail and diverting the traffic to
Seneca,
